Digital Assemblages & In-Betweens
LAPTOP | LUNCH | LEARN
Digital assemblages are the collections of devices, software, and websites we use daily, which we often customize to fit how we work. Our students have these digital collections of tools, too. When we design our courses, do we imagine that students are working as we did during our undergrad days? Or perhaps we assume they are well-versed in all the current tech tools? In this 3-hour workshop, we will take a human-centered design approach to redesigning assignments and other learning activities, keeping in mind the sets of digital tools our students may – or may not—have at their fingertips.
